In loving memory of Joseph Blais, 89 years, who passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Pioneer Manor after a brief illness. Loving father of Louise Tarini (Lawrence predeceased), Mark (Patricia), Michael a.k.a. Cheekie (Coreen), and Lisa (Jake Rupert). Predeceased by his parents Alcide and Lucia (née Lavallee) Blais. Dear brother of Germain (Gerry) Blais and Gaetan Blais both predeceased. Pepere to 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and getting together with family and friends at the castle in Ruel, where he was commonly known as the mayor of Ruel! Due to COVID, services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor, especially the Mallard section for their great care and compassion with dad over the years. You are all Angels in disguise, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. So sorry to learn of Joe’s death. I have fond memories of the the times we spent together with the Blais and Grassi gangs many years ago when Joe was healthy and full of fun. It was always most enjoyable. I send my sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers to the family.
