Boisvenue, Lorraine

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorraine Boisvenue announces her peaceful passing at the age of 83, following a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her journey, Lorraine showed remarkable bravery and resilience, never wavering in her positivity, and cherishing every moment with those who came to visit her.

Lorraine was born to Alexander and Violet Kuehl, and was preceded in death by nine beloved siblings. She was a cherished sister-in-law to three surviving sisters-in-laws. Lorraine's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to Debbie Crouch (Lee) and Michael Boisvenue (Gisele), and an extraordinary Nana to her three grandchildren: Ryan Crouch (Brittany), Joshua Boisvenue, and Jacob Boisvenue. Her legacy extended even further as a beloved Great Nana to Jace Crouch, Eliana Crouch, Hailey Boisvenue, and Elizabeth Boisvenue. Lorraine was also a friend to Wayne Foreman.

Known for her incredible strength and selflessness, Lorraine placed her family above all else. Her love knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of everyone she met. Though she has left us physically, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts and souls, guiding us and watching over us for all eternity.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Maison McCulloch Hospice and its staff for their exceptional care and compassion during Loraine's final weeks. Your kindness was a true blessing during a challenging time, and your dedication is a testament to the warmth of Sudbury's community.

Lorraine's burial will be a private celebration among her closest family members, honoring her life and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.

Memorial Donations in Lorraine’s name may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, 1028 South Bay Road, Sudbury, Ontario, P3E 6J7.
