The family announces with sorrow the death of Lynn Lapierre on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Health Sciences North. Loving daughter of Allan and Lillian Lapierre (both predeceased) of Sudbury. Dear sister of Diane (Don), Dennis (Monique), Louise (Steve Bloom), Richard (predeceased) Allan Jr. (Helen), nieces Christy (Rob), Gillian (Dan) and nephew Ryan Sirkka (Kayla), great aunt to Easton and Bryar. Lynn's passion was cooking. She loved music, singing, playing the guitar, fishing and gatherings at the Dill Lake family camp. Anyone knowing Lynn will know that chocolate was very important to her. Lynn spent her junior years at the Home for the Blind in Brantford. She resided independently in Ottawa for over thirty years. Lynn made many friends in Ottawa while she resided there. Lynn moved back to Sudbury to be with her family in 2013. Many thanks to the Extendicare-Falconbridge Long-Term Care facility for the care and kindness given to Little Lynny in the 3 years she resided there and the great staff at the Health Sciences North. She was a one of a kind girl, and her sense of humour was priceless. Lynny you will be in our hearts forever. There will be no more pain and suffering. Rest in peace. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Extendicare Falconbridge would be greatly appreciated.
To Louise and Diane,
Very sorry for your loss. Lynn will be greatly missed. I will miss her every day that i go into her room. She was a great gal with a heart of gold. She is not in pain any more and is now at rest. You girls and lynn will always have a special place in my heart.

To my dear friend Louise, my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of Lynn. Although I only met her once I know from your stories of the endearing times you spent with her that she was a lot like you. She is an angel in heaven now even as she was here on earth. May that give you comfort in knowing she rests in peace in the arms of the Lord. And while you Louise took such good care of her here, she will be blissfully enjoying her new home and welcomed by her family there. My condolences!
