Tremblay-Birk, Kirsten Tyler

January 30 1981 - July 12 2024

43 years old

Sudbury, ON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kirsten “Kiki B”, who passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 from an opioid overdose.

Kirsten was much more than just this addiction, although she struggled with this for the last 20 years she remained a caring person, always looking out for those in need and would always be willing to help even when she had nothing to give.

She will be deeply missed by her family. Her mother Michelle Tremblay, sister Keisha Velcich, niece and nephew Macy and Easton, significant other Brandon Bill, their dearly beloved cat Ember and many friends and extended family.

We hope she is at peace now, with others she loved, who she missed the most - her father Steven Birk, Grandparents Jack & Peggy Birk, Jeannette & Leo Tremblay, her first fur baby Salem and many friends she considered family.

Please remember, addicts are humans too, with families of their own…they once had dreams and aspirations.

Please be kind towards them.

  1. So sorry to hear about Kirsten’s passing. I knew her since elementary school and she was friends with my daughter. She was a lovely girl. I also lost a daughter and know the heartbreak that addiction brings. I will remember Kirsten with kindness and love.
