It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Rachel Marie Mainville, 63 years at the Maison Vale Hospice on Wednesday, August 26th 2015 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Rachel Marie Mainville, predeceased by her parents Sylvio and Andréanne Mainville (née Trottier), will be greatly missed by her children Danny (Lori Allard ; Madison and Landon) and Michèle (Sydney Corriveau) as well as her seven adored grand-children : Caleb, Alice, Émilie, Ella Minor ; Luca, Sacha and Jona Corriveau. Rachel is survived by her two sisters : Carole (Gilles Doyon) from Sudbury, Sylvie from Montreal, and one brother André-Gregg (Donna) from Toronto. She will be missed by friends and family, but especially so by her nephew and godson Matthieu Bélanger (Candice) from Legal, Alberta and her beloved niece Jovette Bélanger (Andrew Rankine) from Chelmsford as well as her very special aunt and uncle Claire and Robert Gladu. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support they’ve received during these past few months. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Maison Vale Hospice administrative and medical staff, as well as the many volunteers who all had a hand to play in Rachel’s care. In keeping with Rachel’s wishes, the family will welcome friends at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 4th at Paroisse St-Joseph, 3594 Errington Street, Chelmsford.
