Lucille Marie Castonguay, 75 years old, joined the Lord on October 15, 2015. She passed away comfortably in her home with her family by her side. The love and support of her family and friends, her strong will to live, and her unwavering faith in God carried her through her short, but tough battle with cancer.
Lucille is reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 59 years, James Castonguay, as well as with her father, mother, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her seven children Debbie (Roger) Villeneuve of Sudbury, Danny (Kathy) Castonguay of Lucan, Bobby (Mindy) Castonguay of Wahnapitae, Kenny (Danielle) Castonguay of Brampton, Rosanne (Reg) Wilcox of Texas, Marlene (Brian) Levesque of Garson and James (Heather) Castonguay of North Bay. Lucille will be deeply missed by her 17 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lucille's main joy was her family. Family gatherings always were the highlight of her life. As per Lucy's wishes, no church service will be held. Come join us for a celebration of her life at The Park Side Center Kinsmen room A, 140 Durham St in Sudbury, on Saturday, November 7th from 2-5 p.m.
We would like to express our extreme gratitude to Reverend Catherine Somerville for her friendship and spiritual guidance she so freely offered to Lucille and her family. Also, thank you to Bayshore Home Services for the excellent care they provided to Lucy and her family in their time of need. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.
