Rivard, Gerald “Gerry”

In loving memory of Gerald Rivard, 64 years who passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Health Sciences North. Loving father of Lysanne (Pierre), Patricia and Arthur. Cherished grandfather of Samuel, Veronique, Nicholas, Zachary and Kassara. Born in New Liskeard, he was the son of the late Arthur and Aurore (Denomme) Rivard. Dear brother of Diane (Gerard) of New Liskeard, Madeline of Mount Forest, Remi (Sue) of Ottawa, Henri (Catharine) of North Bay, Caroline (Gilbert) of Rockland and Ronald (Carrie Ann) of Englehart. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and special friend, Tina. Gerry worked in the grocery industry for over 30 years of dedicated service. A real people person, Gerry loved his work and considered his colleagues an extension of his family. Up until March of this year, he could be found assisting customers in the grocery area at Vrab’s Your Independent Grocer. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, New Liskeard. Interment of cremains will be in the family plot in New Liskeard. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
