December 16, 1941 – November 17, 2015

It is with a heavy heart that the family announces her passing on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Maison Vale Hospice with her husband and daughters by her side at the age of 73. Beloved wife for 56 years to Eddy Martin. Loving mother of Monica (Dave Schneider), Debby (Jerry Holman), Joanne (Chris Johnston predeceased) and Jennifer (Colin Bokhout). Cherished grandmother of Kristen, Melissa (Paul), Morgan (Todd), Casey, Jessica (Mark), Kyle (Karlie), Brady, Rijah, Beckham, Audree, Gavin (Micheal Poirier) and great-grandmother of Zander, Dylan, Jacob, Raiden, Logan, Aaliyah, Peyton and Wyatt. Born in Sudbury, she was the dear daughter of the late Don and Edna (Gilbeau) Austin. Dear sister of Don (Fernande), Elaine, George predeceased (Ellen), Gordon (Lillian), Cathy (Tom), Anne-Marie, Lorrie (Dave), Jane (Tom). Special sister-in-law of Lorraine (Dave predeceased), Evelyn (Virginio) both predeceased, Elie (Claudette), Richard (Liette) and Vivian (Ron). Audrey will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her four year battle with cancer was an inspiration to us all. Our hearts are full of memories, with pride we speak your name, though life goes on without you, it will never be the same. In keeping with Audrey’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.
