Robson, Wanda

In loving memory of Wanda Robson, at the young age of 63, who peacefully passed away at Maison Vale Hospice with her loving family by her side, on Monday May 16, 2016. Beloved Momsie of Kevin Cook (Ashley), Cathy Lafave (Jules) and Tracy Scott (Andy). Loving Grandmother of Robert, Kricket, Melissa and Victoria. Cherished Great-Grandmother of Anne-Marie and Takara. Born in Sudbury on December 7, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Gladys (Almon) Robson. Surviving dear sister of Shirley Robson, James Robson, Dale (Heather) Robson and Jeanne Cloutier. Predeceased siblings; Wendy Robson, Patricia Westscott, Elisabeth (Betty) Rancier and her beloved friend Brian Cook. Wanda aka “Momsie” had a famous saying “Can’t sing, can’t dance and too fat to fly”. She enjoyed most of her spare time at the casinos and was an avid bingo player. Wanda worked 20 great years at Wal-Mart #3097 in various roles and met a ton of friends, many commented on her witty sense of humor and constant singing through-out the store aisles while working. She always cherished her time with her loved ones and had a heart of gold. Condolences can be posted on Wanda Robson’s facebook wall and at www.rangerssudbury.com. Family details of a celebration of life party at her request will be posted on Wanda's facebook account in the coming weeks.

  1. To Cathy, Kevin and Tracy- I am in shock: Wanda and I shared many great memories and you were all a part of them. Cathy known as JoJo and and Kevin as BooBoo were never very far from my door. We lived next door to each other for over 10 years and then some. Your mom was a special individual, went through some hard times and more but always looked on the bright side of things. When she worked at the Royal Insurance and I worked next door to her she always smiled and had a moment to chat. I can’t say enough about my friend. She loved to go to Bingos anytime any day – she worked hard to keep a roof over your heads. I loved her ambition, her drive. She never gave up. Know that she will never be forgotten. My deepest condolescenes to each of you, the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sue
