It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol Anne Bradley, 80 years on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Loving mother of Lynn Eaton (Steve Nugent) of Humboldt, SK, Glenda, Ellen Swan (Stephen) of Truro NS and Katherine VanDuinkerken (Wendell) of Markstay, ON. Cherished grandmother of Robyn Kiser, Lydia Kiser-Metzler, Nathan Swan, Frederick, Jaryd VanDuinkerken and great- grandmother of Jalen, Sydney and Ostara. Born on June 4, 1936 in Truro NS, she was the daughter of the late David Smith Bradley and Lydia Anne (Watson). Dear sister of Marilyn Wamboldt (Sheldon) of Calgary, AB, Joan Cluett of Dartmouth, NS. and David Bradley (predeceased). Carol was predeceased by her companion Charles Leamont. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and her sister-friend Dorothy. A true Maritimer, Carol Anne grew up on the East Coast residing in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and in Prince Edward Island during her married life. With her partner in life, Charlie they ran a frame shop in Truro, NS for many years before moving back to Sudbury in 2008. Carol loved Northern Ontario and said that if given the chance she would’ve moved here years ago. She loved to dog sit as her four legged friends were a very special part of her life. She enjoyed walking along the boardwalk with her dear friend Dorothy and traveling through Canada and the U.S.A., just to name some of the many adventures our mother took in her lifetime. Carol Anne also loved to bake, classical music, crafts and her many dogs and cats. She was the best mother anyone could ask for. Thanks for everything Mom. In lieu of flowers donations to your local S.P.C.A would be appreciated.
Dear Ellen, Stephen and Nathan,
So very sorry for your loss. my heart and thoughts are with you.
Love,
Maureen
