Timlin, David Rae

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Dave Timlin at the age of 79 years old, on Monday, August 9, 2021. Dave was born in Coburg, Ontario and grew up in Sudbury, Ontario.  Son of the late Ray and Anita (Flesch) Timlin.  Dave lived his life fully with the love of his life, Karin Timlin. Loving father of Allan Timlin (Pat), Sharon Hines (Bob), Sandi Lampkin (Shawn), Robert Lewis (Sherry) and David Lewis. Dedicated grandfather to Lineéa, Erik, Karl, Devon, Erin, Bradley, Megan, Tyler, Frankie, Matthew, Scott, and Michael. Brother to Gerrie Allen (Grant), predeceased by Marie Rolston (John) and brother-in-law to Karl Sebok (Liz) and niece Kaite.  Dave had a long career in the automotive business and retired as a sales manager from Gardner Motors. As a dedicated hockey fan, he loved watching his grandchildren’s hockey games, the Sudbury Wolves and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved golfing and loved to travel. For many years, Dave played an active role helping others in AA and cherished his many friendships that he developed over the years. Dave had a way of bringing out the best in everyone and his infectious smile will be missed dearly by all who have known him.  In line with Dave’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
