Bertrand, Jeannine Helene (née Lalonde)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jeannine Helene Bertrand (née Lalonde) at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Normand Bertrand.  Loving mother of Rose Eldridge (husband Jack) and Norman Jr. (Peggy). Special Mémère to Venessa (John), Shannon, Paige, and Jensen. Grand Mémère to Karson, Piper Rhea and Aubrey. Daughter to the late Arthur and Therese Lalonde.  Dear sister of Lorraine (Armand), Raymond, Liliane (Don), Anita (predeceased), Norm (Melissa), and baby brother Eugene (predeceased). Jeannine leaves behind friends that she held dearly, Carole, Smiley, Gisele, Joanne, Joyce, and many others. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by Donald and Monique. Jeannine enjoyed spending her time sewing, playing cards, and games, but mostly spending time with her great-grandchildren.  Jeannine will be missed by many. Jeannine’s daughter would like to thank Aunty Lil for her support throughout the years and the Shared Home Care Team as well as Bayshore’s nurse Jenna. The family will hold a private burial.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated. “Tomorrow’s sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds but it will rise.”
