It is with great sorrow that the family of Gilles Poulin (62 years) announces his sudden passing on Monday, August 15, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend of 42 years to Dawn (nee Mckinnon) Poulin. Loving father of Candace (Tom Mikic) and Cori Poulin (Dave Rush). Cherished Gramps and Bop of Kaleb, Danika, Kieran and Kayleigh. Born in Sudbury on January 13, 1954, he was the son of the late Hector and Jeannine (nee Harrison) Poulin. Dear brother of Rachel, Pauline (Bob), Jean Guy (Claudette) and Micheline (Rick). Dear son-in-law of Elizebeth Mckinnon (nee Friday) and the late Donald Mckinnon. Dear brother-in-law of Dean (Fran), Dale, Debi (Gord), Drew (Cindy), Dori (Pat) and Dyan (Kevin). Gilles will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. He retired from I.N.C.O. in 2009 with 36 years of dedicated service. Gilles was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and woodworking. A Celebration of Gilles’ Life will be held at the Dr. Edgar Leclair Community Centre, 158 Ste-Agnes Street, Azilda on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dawn: I was very sorry to hear that Gil had passed. Like my brother Paul, he died too young. But even though he was only 62, it sounds like he had a full and happy life. Our thoughts are with you.
