Lorie-Ann Paul (née Gratton), 57, of Sudbury passed away after a short fight with cancer on June 11th, 2022. Lorie was surrounded by her family and loved ones. Lorie-Ann was born on June 4, 1965, to Mother Jeanne Clement. Lorie-Ann grew up in Sudbury her whole life. She worked at Starlite cleaners in her younger years where she met the father of her children and had two daughters. She then went on to work with the hospital (Health Sciences North) where she met her husband, Glenn. Lorie-Ann will be dearly missed and always remembered. Predeceased by her brother Brian Gratton and sister Carmen Gervais and is survived by her mother Jeanne Clement, husband Glenn Paul, brother Mandy Gervais (Ginette), daughters Tara-Lynn Miron (David) and Chelbi-Jean Miron (Vinny), stepdaughter Cailyn Ranger (Justin), and her four beautiful grand babies that were her absolute world, Gavin, Cayden, Maxwell, and Paislee. Lorie will be dearly missed by her nieces, cousins, best friends, the Paul family, and everyone who ever knew her. Lorie was always a breath of fresh air and would light up the room the moment she walked in. Lorie requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. This will be for close family and friends and will be planned at a later date. We thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association https://www.diabetes.ca/.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends. I’m very saddened by the news. I worked with Lorie for many years and we always had so much fun together and always stayed friends. She will surely be missed by so many. R.I. P. My beautiful friend.

Glenn and Family,
Thinking of you all in this very difficult time. No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. I will miss seeing Lorie around HSN. She always knew how to make people laugh, was so passionate about the patients and wanting to make sure they had the best experience possible. I can hear her laugh vividly. She will surely be missed.

I’m soooo sorry for everyone’s loss. She was a great lady and I’ll always be thankful for her giving my little dude
Extra treats while he had covid on the isolation ward back in 2020.
