It is with deep sadness that the Seguin family announces the passing of our dad Smith (Emile) Seguin on Sunday October 2nd, 2016 at the Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. Surrounded by his loving family, Smith leaves behind his children Vince (Tammy), Kim (Chris) and his wife Rachel. Dad will be greatly missed by his most pride and joys of his life his grandchildren Tiffany (Shawn), Shayn, Tessa and Samantha. Best Pepere ever! Smith was predeceased by his mother Amanda Viau (Seguin) and father Eugene Seguin as well as his sisters Julianna and Pauline. Loving brother of Julien (Noella), Herve, Yvonne (Billy) and Lucille (Venance). Smith enjoyed his life to the fullest vacationing on Easy Street in the French River with family and friends. His love of nature and the great outdoors, his hunting buddies in the Beaver Hunt Club will miss him dearly. He spent his life in Noëlville raising his family and working as the chief custodian at the French River High School. Smith was a strong silent man who was quick to give a wise opinion or his happy sarcastic humor. He enjoyed the finer things in life and could be found enjoying a drink or two with his friends at the Noëlville Tavern in his favorite chair. A hard working man, Smith was a jack of all trades and enjoyed time in his shop working on his projects. A man with wisdom and a big heart he will be sadly missed by many friends and family in the town of Noëlville. The family will be having a Celebration of Life in Noëlville at St. David Parish Church, 8 Notre Dame St. E., on Saturday October 8th, 2016 at 1:00p.m. Following the services at the church, all family and friends are welcome to visit at Vince and Tammy’s residence to celebrate and have a cheer in memory of our dad Smith Seguin.
So sorry for your loss, Rachel. My thoughts are with you at this time. Wishing you my deepest sympathy and also on behalf of the whole Maurice family, Hugs and kisses to all of you.
