Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by his adoptive parents Harvey and Olive Whitehead (née Metcalfe). Beloved husband of Colinne Levesque. Loving father of Shauwn (Tina), Corey and stepfather of Jason, Jeffrey (Chantal), Deserah (Katie) and Bruce (Sarah). Cherished grandfather of Hannah, Victoria, Owen, Brock, Zoe and step grandchildren Brielle, Isabelle, Kiera, Brook, Braya, Cameron, Jacob, Brooklyn, Megan, Brooklynn, Taylor, and great grandfather to Louis. Sadly, missed by many relatives and friends. Glen was well known in the mining industry, even given the nickname (two feather) by his coworkers. He was a kind and gentle man who always put others needs before his own. He also embraced his native roots and loved to share his stories with those who wanted to listen. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glen’s memory can be made directly to Horizon Timmins Palliative Care Inc., by mail only (65 Jubilee East, Timmins, ON P4N 5W4).
Sorry for your loss, worked with Glen at the Kidd Copper Smelter. It was a pleasure to have worked with him, especially during trying times when we were starting up the place..
