It is with deep sadness that we announce Trevor’s passing, at his residence in North Bay, ON.
Beloved younger son of Dorothy Aikens and the late Joseph Daniel Aikens.
Trevor was the father of Keith Aikens-Maitland and Matthew Aikens (Sophie), both of B.C., and the grandfather of Claire and Rylee, Matthew and Sophie’s little girls.
He was the brother of the late Troy and half-brother of Ryan (Marcie) and Tanya (Shawn).
Trevor leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and a multitude friends, all of whom will greatly miss him.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
My sincere condolences on your loss. I had the priviledge of helping Trevor “legally” when he was younger. I found him to be pleasant, respectful, humourous and smart. I will always remember his smile that luckily is captured in his photo. He left us too early and I do wish i had known he was in North Bay since I would have looked him up to renew friendship.

So sorry for his family’s loss….I only knew Trevor for some of my younger years but he always had the kindest heart!!! He was always one who could carry out a good conversation if you were looking for one…..he has left this world too soon and would have loved to have one more chance to hangout for a night with him….he never did me wrong and I thought he was a great guy…sending condolences to his friends and family….R.I.P my old friend and say Hi to Troy….rest easy!!!
