It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce his passing on Friday, July 7, 2023 with family by his side at St. Gabriel’s Villa, Chelmsford, ON.
Born on September 27, 1948, Garry Allan Stevens embraced a life of love of family, outdoors, and storytelling.
A loving and devoted family man he was married to Christine Stevens for 53 years. He adored his three girls; Donna Van Dyk (Louis Van Dyk), Tammy Stevens (Stéphane Paquette), Tina Stevens (Joel Frappier), and his grandchildren Shaniah Joly (Patrick Joly), Tyler Stevens (Mackenzie Lapierre), Grant Van Dyk, and Ambroise Stevens – Paquette. Proud great grandfather to Logan, Levi Joly, and Koda Stevens. Dear brother to Betty Lou Tulk (predeceased) (Fred Tulk) and Debbie Bailey (Dave Bailey) of Sault Ste Marie. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Garry’s life will take place at the Biscotasing Community Centre on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Donations in his memory can be made directly to the Biscotasing Community Centre by e-transfer etmanskij@hotmail.com, mail (67 Lake Street, PO Box 1-6 Biscotasing, ON P0M 1C0) or in-person , would be greatly appreciated.
