Charron, Wayne “Joe”

In loving memory of Wayne Leonard Joseph (Joe) Charron, 79, who passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at his home. Beloved Father of Shawn Charron (Joanne Trottier). The loving son of Lucien and Aileen (Furlong) Charron (Both predeceased) and Brother to Deanna Pacaud (Howard, both predeceased), Doreen Jerome (Reg), and Judy Simms (Roger, predeceased). Joe or Joey as he was known to most, was born April 27, 1944 in Wahnapitae, where he lived until his passing. Joey was a quiet man who liked to keep to himself, but he was not afraid to speak up and give you, his opinion. He liked to put on a rough exterior but below that was a heart of gold. Joey worked in Construction and throughout his years enjoyed hunting and fishing, blueberry picking, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He did everything for his family. His pride and joy was his son Shawn or at least second to his truck. He was so proud of the Man his son had become and all that he accomplished in life. Their banter was legendary. Oh!!! how they would argue and disagree, but in the end, there was always a, “I love you Papa” from Shawn and an awkward hug from Joey. They had a special bond that will last forever. Joey will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, relatives and, the Pilon’s and all that knew him. As per his wishes there will be no services or visitation.
