It is with sorrow that the family announces the passing of Denis Boucher in Sudbury on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Beloved son of the late Gerard and Therese (nee Jeansonne) Boucher. He was the loving brother of the late Rita Boucher, Lorraine Legault, Carole Poulin (Royal) and the late Marc Boucher. His nieces and nephews, Daniel Poulin (Michelle), François Poulin (Christine), Allain Legault and Joel Legault (Sherrie Lamontagne) meant the world to him. Denis’ great-nieces and nephews Griffin and Branden Poulin, Dominic and Vanessa Poulin, and Brayden and Kingsten Boucher-Legault will keep many fond memories of him. Denis had a big heart and always greeted people with a big smile. He was also a lover of music, especially classic rock. He loved to spend time with his nephew Allain and his friends whether it was ice fishing, having barbecues or gathering outside around the fire.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and PSWs for their compassionate care on the 4th floor at HSN and Maison McCulloch Hospice. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
In honour of Denis, donations can be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice in his memory.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m at Ste Agnes Church(15 St Agnes St, Azilda).
