Bertrand, Theodor (Ted)

In loving memory of Theodor J. Bertrand, born on January 26th, 1947 who passed away at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Sudbury on May 16th, 2024. Beloved spouse of Deborah Pellerin, loving father of Norm Bertrand (Nancy), Roxanne Mongeon (Guy), and Guy Bertrand (Terry), and step-father of Carrie Pellerin (Mike), Richard Pellerin (Lani), cherished grandfather and great grandfather. Son of the late Donat Bertrand and Aurélie Bertrand (Trépanier), brother of Fernande Goulard, predeceased by his siblings Arsène, Françoise, Hector, Laurier, Robert, Jacques, and Colette. Sadly missed by Jeanine Bertrand, many nieces, nephews, and his special companion, Tigger. He also had a love for camping, fishing, playing guitar and piano with friends. He was also an avid Montreal Canadians’ fan.

Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care (2^nd floor), especially nurses Natalie and Ashley for their compassion and care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at the Colonial Inn 28 Cedar Street, Coniston.

À la mémoire de Theodor J. Bertrand, né le 26 janvier 1947, décédé au Centre de soins continus St-Joseph de Sudbury le 16 mai 2024. Époux bien-aimé de Deborah Pellerin, père bien-aimé de Norm Bertrand (Nancy), Roxanne Mongeon (Guy) et Guy Bertrand (Terry), ainsi que le beau-père de Carrie Pellerin (Mike), Richard Pellerin (Lani), grand-père et arrière-grand-père chéri. Fils de feu Donat Bertrand et Aurélie Bertrand (Trépanier), frère de Fernande Goulard, précédé par ses frères et sœurs Arsène, Françoise, Hector, Laurier, Robert, Jacques et Colette. Il manque beaucoup à Jeanine Bertrand, à plusieurs nièces, neveux et à son compagnon spécial, Tigger. Il aimait aussi le camping, la pêche, jouer de la guitare et du piano avec des amis. Il était également un fervent partisan des Canadiens de Montréal.

Un merci spécial au personnel des Soins continus St. Joseph (2e étage), en particulier aux infirmières Natalie et Ashley pour leur compassion et leurs soins.

Une célébration de la vie aura lieu le samedi 15 juin 2024 de 14h à 17h au Colonial Inn, 28 rue Cedar à Coniston.
