In Loving memory of Richard Tammi who passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Health Sciences North at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the Late June Tammi (Lange). Dear son of Aune and Henry Tammi, both predeceased. Dear brother of Lillian Flesher (predeceased). Dear brother-in-law of Barb Budzinski (John). Loving father of Robert (Theresa). Loving grandfather of Joshua. Sadly, missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Lovingly remembered by his cousin Charlie Heino and his “second son” Nils Sandstrom.
Richard will always be remembered as someone who loved his family dearly. Richard was a wonderful father, his relationship with his son, Rob was priceless. He devoted his love and time endlessly to Rob. He had a great sense of humor and never missed a moment to make us laugh. Richard was an incredibly talented and passionate mechanic. He owned and operated Tammi’s automotive for many years. He could fix, create and invent almost anything. Always helping in anyways he could. After his retirement, he loved spending winters in Florida and summers at his cottage at Lake Panache with his family and friends. We will miss you forever isä. Our hearts are broken, but you are no longer suffering, and we are comforted knowing you will be reunited with all your loved ones.
Special thanks to Richard’s cousin Charlie Heino for always helping and taking care of Richard during hard times. Thank you to all the staff in every department at HSN and St Joseph’s CCC who cared for Richard over the years. A heartfelt thanks to our dear friends Rob Watson, Renee Henri, and our sister Carrie Denault for always helping with assisting Richard in appointments and countless hours spent at the hospital by his side over the past year. Thank you to all our family and friends for your kind messages and condolences during this difficult time. A final thank you to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial services for your services and sympathetic support.
In honoring Richards final wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory at a future date.
Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
