In Loving Memory of Denise Beatrice Pelletier (née Gélinas), 82 years, who passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife for over 53 years to the late Gabriel Pelletier. Loving mother of Suzanne (Bob), Luc (Nicole), Charles, and Normand (Donna). Cherished grandmother of Drayden, Justin, Morgan, Alexie, and Kaylie. Dear sister of Bernard (predeceased), Annette (Yvon) (both predeceased), Lucille (Lionel) (both predeceased), Margo (Ed - predeceased), Marcel (Yollande) (both predeceased), and Francoise (Ed –predeceased). Denise was born in Sturgeon Falls to the late Émile and Edna (née Lafrenier). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at Health Sciences North for all of their care and compassion. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Denise’s memory directly to the Health Sciences North Foundation – Cardiac Care would be greatly appreciated.
It is with tremendous sadness to hear of Denise’s passing. Denise was a phenomenal person full of love, strength and courage. She had a huge presence was full of life, smart and had a great laugh. We will cherish the wonderful memories we had the chance to share with her. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May they find peace and courage in these trying times. May she rest in peace. May she be reunited with her husband Gabe in eternal love.

My mom is Erika Mayhew and lived at Chartwell Westmount Retirement home. Denise was a dear friend of Erika’s and she will be greatly missed. We want to express our sincere condolences to her children at this time.
