Dorion, Carol

(June 24, 1946 - December 12, 2024)  (78)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Ann Dorion (nee Jeffrey) on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. Loving wife to Georges Dorion (predeceased 1988) and loving partner to Eugene Therrien (predeceased 2018). Cherished by her daughters Janet (Jeff Swant) and Joanne (Marc Desormeaux). Adored by her grandsons whom she thought the world of, Brandon Dorion and Blake Desormeaux. Carol will be sadly missed by her two sisters Beryl (Art Moore) and Christine (Roger Normandeau). She will be dearly missed by family and many friends especially in the Coniston Community. As per Carol's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at HSN 4th floor South Tower for their care and compassion and also a very special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice for the extraordinary care.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

She will always hold a special place in your hearts and through you both. I remember our younger years going to see you both and the stories that your mom would tell us. Her hair studio in the basement when you guys lived on Nickel St. We all had great memories. Please accept our condolences to you all and may Carol RIP.

Carol was my very best friend growing up and we had some great memories. We met up again in later years and it was like time apart meant nothing. We started up where we left off. I often think of the girls and grandsons and Beryl and Christine. My heart goes out to all of you. Rest in peace my dear friend. You deserve it
