It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Albert Rapski, on December 17, 2024 at his residence at the age of 85 yrs.
Albert is survived by his wife Joan Rapski (née Siitonen) of 62 years. Born in Sudbury, ON to the late Joseph and the late Jessie Rapski. Survived by his brother John and predeceased by his sister Julia.
Albert was a teacher and principal for years in Sudbury. His pride was in his school and students, and he shared his passion for learning with thousands of children over the years. His pleasures in life on Manitoulin Island brought him great joy along with his canine friends, his labs. Albert was a dog lover. And he loved to travel to warm destinations in the winter.
We will miss Albert’s bright smile and joyful laugh.
As per his request, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted at www.RangersSudbury.com.

Don and I loved having you as neighbours. Sending you our deepest sympathy, I’m sure you will miss him dearly. You were both wonderful people. I would’ve loved to have seen him with that beautiful white beard. I would have given him a big hug and a kiss 💋 on his cheek. I remember Mr. Rapski as a kind, gentle man. My condolences go out to his family. How sad to lose a loved on especially at this time of year. I am a former student of Mrs. Rapski from Chelmsford V.D.C.S.
