August 19, 1937 – February 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Roberti, at the age of 87, on February 24, 2025. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Robert's life was defined by his hard work, dedication to his family, and compassion for others.
Robert was born in Sudbury on August 19, 1937 to Gottardo and Rose Roberti (predeceased). Loving brother of Mary (Dave) Wilton and Roxana Roberti.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marguerite (nee D’Angelo), his daughters Melanie and Adriana (George), and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Megan (Ryan), Michael, Robert, and Robyn. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, all of whom were fortunate to know his loving heart.
He treasured all his friends that he made over the years and their wonderful times together. Bob also enjoyed his retirement years, many of which he spent in Florida enjoying the sun and his Floridian friends. He will be very sadly missed by all.
Bob retired from INCO after many years of service, but his commitment to helping others continued long after his career ended. For over 20 years, he volunteered at the Cancer Centre, offering support and kindness to those in need. He offered patients the St. Jude pocket medallion to help them with their journey. He also delivered Meals on Wheels for several years.
His generous spirit and tireless work ethic were evident in everything he did.
Bob was a man of great integrity, whose devotion to his faith, family and community will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Northern Cancer Fund or any organization of your choice in Bob’s honor.
Marguerite and family, Peter and I are truly sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Bob will be missed by his friends and family.
