Lachapelle, Lucille (Dionne)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Lucille Lachapelle (née Leduc), on Sunday March 23, 2025, at 91 years old. Beloved wife of the late Gérard Lachapelle for 69 years and wife of René Dionne. Daughter of the late Armand Leduc and the late Clémentine (née Primeau). Lucille will be greatly missed by her children, Suzanne Roy (André), Robert (Carol), late Guy, Nicole (Rhéal Renaud), Michel known as Mitch. Dear sister of Lionel Leduc (Lina) and predeceased by her other siblings Thérèse, Roland (late Laurence), Marguerite (late Albert Marier), Aimé (Laurette), Hector (Mary Beth), Marcel (late Helen).  Dear Mémère to Gary (Julie), Gilles (Sara), Amanda, Robert (Shelley), Richard, Christopher, Joël, Mitchell and Hope. She was the heart of our family and will leave a void that cannot be filled.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral. A private graveside burial will be held at a later date.

La famille annonce avec grande tristesse, le décès de notre mère Lucille Lachapelle (née Leduc), le dimanche 23 mars 2025 à l’âge de 91 ans. Épouse de feu Gérard Lachapelle pendant 69 ans et épouse de René Dionne.  Fille de feu Armand Leduc et de feu Clémentine (née Primeau). Mère bien-aimée de Suzanne Roy (André), Robert (Carol), feu Guy, Nicole (Rhéal Renaud) et Michel connu sous le nom Mitch. Sœur bien-aimée de Lionel Leduc (Lina) et prédécédée par ses sœurs et ses frères Thérèse, Roland (feu Laurence), Marguerite (feu Albert Marier), Aimé (Laurette), Hector (Mary Beth), Marcel (feu Hélène). Mémère bien aimée de Gary (Julie), Gilles (Sara), Amanda, Robert (Shelley), Richard, Christopher, Joël, Mitchell et Hope. Elle était le cœur de notre famille et laissera un vide qui ne pourra être comblé.

Selon les souhaits de Lucille, il n’y aura pas de funérailles. Un enterrement privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
