It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Dan on April 13, 2019 in his 79th year. Devoted husband of Agnes “Alice” Coleman (nee Mei) for 57 years and proud father of Dan Coleman Jr. (Marianne), Kevin Coleman (Wendy Mossman) and Brian Coleman (Peggy). Beloved Grandpa/Papa to Lianne, Kristina, Jordan, Cindy, Lauren, Evelyn and Kaitlin. Dear brother of Brenda Bochenek (George), John (predeceased), Evelyn Humphries (Roger), and George Coleman (Gina). He will be dearly missed by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Dan enjoyed a rewarding sales career in the electrical industry. His leisure time was often spent at the camp with his best friend “Alice”, fishing, hunting or enjoying the company of friends and family. He was a life-long hockey fan, originating with his many childhood visits to the Montreal Forum, through his playing days, to his joint ownership of a Junior team, to watching his grandchildren play, to his many trips to Montreal, with friends and family, to watch his beloved Canadiens. Dan’s sense of humour and legendary tales will be missed by all who loved and knew him. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 19 Mary Street, Sudbury at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to The Sudbury Food Bank.

Our sincerest condolences go out to the entire Coleman family. I had the great pleasure of being included on a couple of the Montreal trips to see the habs and one thing was very apparent and that was Dan loved his boys and his boys loved him. Dan will be missed and he definitely will not be forgotten. Garry
