It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Barry Alvin Armstrong on January 24, 2024 at the age of 63 surrounded by his loving family. Barry leaves to mourn his beloved partner and best friend of 32 years Caroline Langley.
Barry was the youngest son of Alvin (predeceased) and Florence (Greer) Armstrong. He was a much-loved brother to Cheryl (Robert) Herbert, Joanne (Mike) Mayer, Gail (Ed) Turgeon, and Jim (April Greer) Armstrong. Barry will be missed by his nieces and nephews Allan (Brenda) Herbert, Devin (Lesa Barry) Mayer, Denis (Laura) Turgeon, Melissa (Andrew) Lariviere, Karen (Cal) Roque, Michelle (Nick) Briand, great nieces, and nephews and one great-great nephew. He will be miss by his closest and dearest friend Mark Cardinal.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Cancer Centre and in ICU North at HSN for their exceptional care and compassion with Barry throughout his illness.
