Ashley Malette

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ashley Malette, 27 years old, at her residence in Sudbury on Tuesday, December 31^st, 2024.  

Ashley was born in Sturgeon Falls. Growing up she was a very bubbly, outgoing, outspoken person and loved to laugh. She enjoyed fishing and camping. One of her biggest accomplishments was graduating from MacDonald Cartier in Sudbury. While going to school she enjoyed doing placements in culinary at the College Boreal, Topper's Pizza, and Sweet Nothings Bakery. She was very special in many ways and to many of us.

Ashley will be missed by her loving father André Malette (Stacey Kydd), as well as her siblings Frank Quenneville and Samantha-Lynn Tattrie; her grandparents Angele Martel, Henri Malette, Lucy Fleury-Malette, Rollande Lafleur, and Sunny Lafleur (predeceased). She will be forever cherished by many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ashley will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her random “Hi what’s up”. Ashley had a great passion for cooking and making new friends wherever she went. She loved to be surrounded by people!

In lieu of services, the family will have a celebration of life, date to be determined. Memorial donations in Ashley Malette’s name to Genevra House Sudbury would be greatly appreciated.
