It is with saddened hearts that we announce her passing on Saturday, August 27, 2022, with many loving families by her side at Extendicare York in Sudbury, Ontario at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Aurel and Lucille Matte and loving wife of the late Joseph William Beauchamp. Survived by her brother Richard (wife Janet), children Michael (Sherry), Lisa Walli (Dan), Mark, and Madeleine.
In addition, her passing is also mourned by her grandchildren Corey, Thyanna, Savannah, Pam, Laura (Rob) and Sarah. Also, she will be missed by her great grandchildren Paige, Adriana, Emmit and Archer, as well as her brother Richards children Aurel, Andrew, Robert and many other nieces and nephews. All knew and loved her as Gramma, and she loved them all. Special mention goes to her friend of fifty years, Louise Coffie.
Diane was a loving wife and mother with a great sense of humor who could make you laugh just by watching her laugh. Uncontrollably! She was a sweet soul whose pride and joy was her family. She was a people person and always had a compliment for everyone whether she knew them or not. Diane was a kid at heart and a true angel, even when she had her hand in the cookie jar. She touched a lot of hearts and was known as Mother Love.
The family is truly grateful to the staff at Extendicare York for the compassion and excellent care given to our Mother Love. Also, a thanks goes out to HSN 5th floor south tower staff.
As per Diane's request there will be no funeral and a celebration of life will be held with immediate family only. Interment will be at the Lasalle Catholic Cemetery at a not yet determined date.
My heart goes out to my dear cousins Michael, Lisa and Mark and all who adored her for who she was. I remember her for the stories she shared , her ready smile, her laughter and the great love she had for her beloved Joe. Aunt Diane brought the fun wherever she went. Her love of family is a tremendous legacy .

Our deepest condolences to the Beauchamp and Matte family. We are deeply sadden of this news. My memory is of laughter and lot’s of dog loving with Carly. You will be missed.

To all who knew Diane: What a great fun Lady. Knew her and Joe well when they lived in the Valley. Always a ‘hoot’ to get together with them. Great memories……and wishing you all amazing memories of a lovely couple.
