Beaudry, Victor

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Victor Beaudry, our Papa Boo, in his 77th year, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre.

He was, quite literally, known to everyone in his community. Having lived a long life, full of adventures, he never hesitated to captivate anyone with one of his many stories. His home was often filled with the laughter of friends and family, a home he opened to anyone who needed it. He loved to spend time outside, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his face, riding his side-by-side and usually sporting his flannel “buffalo plaid”. His smile was infectious, his laugh was heartwarming, his only flaw was that he could never remember the PIN on his debit card, which was ok because all the stores remembered it for him. If he wasn’t teasing you, he was probably sleeping. His stubbornness and unwavering strength were traits he proudly passed on to his children, shaping their lives just as they had shaped his. He left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. There is no one that he loved more than his children and grandchildren. His face lit up with pride at the mere mention of their names. He had an unconditional love for his family and friends, and of course, the many pets and grand pets that he cared for over the years.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alma Beaudry, his siblings Edna, Billy, Lorraine, Teresa, Clifford, Cleve and Mikey and survived by his sister Leona Joncas (Eugene).

He leaves behind his beloved children Billy (Heidi) and Lana, his grandchildren Jayden, Kailyn and Kamryn and the mother of his children, Evelyn (Ken), who has remained a dear friend through the years. Missed by all who knew him, Victor will live on in our hearts, and through his stories, as he reunites with the MANY friends and family who left us too soon.

A special thank you to the staff at ERHHC and his PSW Sylvie for taking such good care of our father, grandfather, brother and friend and providing a safe and comfortable place to spend the last of his days.
