Beaulieu, Georges (94 years)

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces Georges' peaceful transition into the heart of God on Friday, February 9, 2024.  Son of Joseph and Celima (Levac) Beaulieu, both predeceased. Soulmate and beloved husband of 71 years to Rita (Morin).  He is predeceased by his sisters Aurore, Laura, Lorenza, Alida, Therese, and his brothers Thomas, Theodore, Edmond, Donat, Ovide and Conrad.  He will also be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends.  Loving father of Carolle Smeltzer (Terry) predeceased, Linda Albert (Ron), Charles (Louise Laviolette) and Patsy Beaulieu (Rick).  Cherished pépère of Darcy (predeceased), Joel (Viv), Marc (Abby), Dominic (Melissa), Danielle (Jason), Justin (Kaara), Corrie-Anne (Rick), Shane (Christine) and Mathieu (Darquise). Treasured grand pépère of Joey, Audree, Zoe, Matea, Maxton, Maeva, Charlie, Jesse, Penelope, Alexia, Audrick, Brielle, and Luc. Georges proudly dedicated 37 years of his life working for INCO. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his cottage in the French River area. During his retirement, he and Rita, the love of his life, travelled coast to coast and devoted numerous years volunteering at Pioneer Manor.  They enjoyed many hours spent with friends at Club Amical.  We will greatly miss his unconditional and ever-present love. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A Funeral Mass will be held at Paroisse Saint-Dominique, 1241 Diane Street, Sudbury on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
