It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorna Béland on February 2, 2025. Lorna was the beloved wife of Jeff Béland for 70 wonderful years. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Pauline McDonald (Victor), Denise Keir (Doug), and Anne Matte (Richard).
A devoted grandmother, Lorna cherished her seven grandchildren: Amanda, Sheena, Jeffrey, Ryan, Sarah, Michelle, and Darren. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Haven, Jade, Émily, Alyson, Anna, Olivia, Logan, Ramsey, Étienne, Loick, Enzo, Rayden, and Émile.
She is also survived by her dear sisters, Joan Amyotte and Thelma Kuehl. She was predeceased by her brother Jacques Romain and her sister Jacqueline Poupore.
Lorna found great joy in spoiling her family and creating treasured memories, whether at Tower Bay, during winters in Florida, or playing cards with her many friends. Her warmth, generosity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Pioneer Manor for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Lorna and her family. We deeply appreciate everyone who crossed her path and made a difference in her final years. A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you Jeff and your Family at this most difficult time.
Lorna was a wonderful person and loved by everyone.
We will always cherish the good times we had when you lived next door.
Lorna will truly be missed but never forgotten.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I have always cherished the memories of the good times spent at your cottage in Windy Lake. Linda and Michèle and Claire and Réjean would take me or I would go with my sister Rosemarie and Donald (Duck). My heartfelt condolences to all of you who loved Lorna. My thoughts are with you.
