It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Catherine Brown on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the age of 89. Daughter of Malcolm and Eppie (nee Allen) Bilton both predeceased. Beloved wife of Mervin (predeceased 1970). She is survived by her children; Dale (Eleanor), Harold, Brian (Nancy), David (Lise), Marlene (Paul), Mindy (Aaron) and Debbie (Dave). Special 'mom' to Cathy Martin (Bryan). She will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren Kari, Sandy, Tina, Melissa, Phillip, Monique, Denis, Neil, and Jenna-Lynn and her 13 great-grandchildren who affectionately called her "GG". Also survived by her sister Rhoda. She was predeceased by her siblings; Gordon, Christina, Lillian, Flora, Waudby, Alfred, Nina, Robert, Elvena and John. At the family's request there will be no visitation or service. A graveside service will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m.
