It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother at the Elizabeth Centre on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the age of 89 with loving family by her side. Loving mother of Marcel Jolivet (Diane), Thérèse Leblanc (Léo), Diane Jolivet (Cécile), Roger Labonté (Lorraine), Denise Rancourt (Réjean), Patricia Simard (Ernie – predeceased), Lucille Martin (William), Desneige Labonté (Armand), Linda Howard (Paul), Conrad Labonté (Caroline), Lucia Labonté (James), Lucien Labonté (Sandy) and predeceased by her loving daughter Jocelyne Labonté. Cherished by over 75 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers André Gélinas and Charles Gélinas (Céline). Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She was a proud woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, house keeper, handy lady, mechanic, seamstress, janitor etc. Our mother wore many hats throughout her life, but the hat she treasured the most was being a mother and grandmother.
She will be truly missed. We love you Mom!
