It is with deep sadness and profound love that we mourn the passing of James Peter Moreau of Lively, Ontario on Friday, February 4, 2022 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Our beautiful Jim will be forever missed by his loving wife Debby; his loving children who meant the world to him, Jason(Nicole), Russell(Joanne), Adam(Pam) and Lindsay (Nestor), ; his grandchildren Aidan, Rowan, Parker, Emily, and Adison; his brother, Harry; his mother-law, Cassy Lalonde, sister in law, Kirsty and favorite brother in law John and the many nieces and nephews that have loved him through the years. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James Sr. and Joyce (nee Watson), and his younger brother Doug. Jim had a long career with Sudbury Hydro as a lineman. He made so many dear friendships over those years which carried on after his retirement. Jim loved working outdoors, in the bush or wherever his job took him. He wasn’t fond of working in the cold (surprise!) but loved those hot sunny days. He also had an incredible talent for woodworking and showcased his talents by creating everything from furniture and jewellery boxes to decks and sheds. Twenty-two years ago, Jim and Debby met and quickly fell in love. They had finally found each other. They married and spent almost every single minute together camping or going on cross country adventures or just enjoying their time together. It was heaven on earth. Their parting words, ‘until we meet again my darling” Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Emily Dube. Never too busy and always available, she came to our home and cared for Jim with the utmost respect and professionalism. She went above and beyond. Our gratitude is immeasurable.
