The family announces with sorrow her passing on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the age of 95 while in the loving care of the Trillium Wing at Pioneer Manor. Devoted mother of the late Leo Charbonneau, Brian Charbonneau (Pearl) and Patricia Denny Fyn (Jan). Beloved sister of the late Frank Dion. An employee of the Sudbury Star for 34 years, Angie was an avid sportsperson who enjoyed many years as a player in the Sudbury Women’s Softball League. Her pastime was knitting but her dedication was to her children, her 6 grandchildren and her 9 great-grandchildren. In life Angie was respected. In death she will be regretted. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service, a commemoration of her life to follow at a later date.
Angie was a co-worker of mine at the Sudbury Star for many many years as well as a good friend to me and my family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. She will be missed.

Thinking of you all. Still wearing my mitts she made me just after mom passed away. Angie was a wonderful lady. I have many happy memories of her and lots of old home movies too. I am sure my mom was there to greet her with open arms, and I can imagine what those two are up to.

I was saddened to hear that your mom had passed away. I’d see her often in the hallway or when I’d be in the lounge playing cards with my mom. Such a nice lady! May your memories comfort you during this sad time. Another beautiful flower in God’s Garden.
