In loving memory of Donald Cornthwaite, 78 years who passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his residence. Born in Copper Cliff, he was the beloved son of the late Richard and Pearl (Chaulk) Cornthwaite. Loving brother of William “Bill” (Colleen) both predeceased, Joyce Blacklock (Ray – predeceased), Lois Satherstrom (Lawrence) both predeceased, June Blacklock (Dalton – predeceased), Anne MacDonald (Danny), John Lacey (Bertha), Raymond Lacey (Carol), and Dorothy Thompson (Mac) both predeceased. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by dear friends Allan and Ann Brown. Don retired from I.N.C.O. with 28 years service as a Skimmer working in the Smelter. In keeping with Donald’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment of cremains will take place in the family plot at the Parklawn Cemetery.
To all of Donnies family, I send you my condolences and to let you know that my heart is very heavy right now for your loss. I have known Donnie all my life practically and knew him as such a swell guy. He was always there for everyone. He was such a happy person and loved life very much. He will be greatly missed by his family and myself. He was such a good brother and friend. I know he is in a good place now. Rest in Peace, my dear dear friend!!
