Daub, Ursula

October 5, 1951 – July 9, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ursula Daub (nee Cerkownyk) at Health Sciences North with family by her side on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the age of 69. Loving wife of Guenter Daub (predeceased 2011). Loving mother of Lisa (Milovan) and Darren (Stacy). Beloved daughter of the late Stefan and Klara Cerkownyk. Loving sister to Bohdan (predeceased), Monical Wylie (Bruce) and Yaroslav Tserkovnyk (Maria) of Toronto. Special aunt to Melanie (predeceased), Steven (Jenn) of Sudbury, Maria (Igor), Sonia (Slavko), Oksana and Ivanka of Toronto. Nana to Joshua Daub (Tamara) and Emily Drouin (Tom) of Sudbury. In 1971, she married Guenter Daub and resided in her childhood home in the Donovan until her passing. She had the gift to gab and would approach everyone with a smile and a hello. Her canine friends Caelyn and Jersey are missing her. She also enjoyed playing cards, although she always cheated and playing Bingo while her husband was still alive. The family would also like to extend their appreciation to Health Sciences North ICU department for the excellent care and compassion during this difficult time. At Ursula’s request there will be no visitation or service but there will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
