Greg passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2016 at 58 years of age. He was a treasured son of Gord (predeceased) and Dosse (Cleary) Field. Husband of Dianne; father of Shannon (Mike) and David (Shanyn). Dear brother of Colin (Melissa). As a beloved family man, he was a special brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and cousin to so many. He enjoyed 32 years working at Sudbury Hydro and in the process, built lifelong friendships. Greg, an avid outdoorsman, always made time for all sorts of fun in the wilderness; leading hunting, hiking, fishing, ATV-ing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and camping adventures with his family and friends. Greg will be fondly remembered by friends of all ages for his genuine sense of humor, passion for food and love of music. A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Bryston’s-on-the-Park (Upper Hall) from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Words of comfort will be shared at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.
