  4. Uncle David, Marlene, Rose Marie, Bruce, Aunt Gentine’s extended family; our hearts are breaking for each of you as well as for ourselves. We have many good memories of the visits at Dad’s throughout the years. We always had so many good laughs and of course the tears when it was time for the visit to be over. Mom and Dad told us of how good Aunt Gentine was to Alma and I right from the time we were toddlers. Dad and Aunt Gentine could not have been any closer being the closest in age. Kindness, generosity, soft heartedness, pleasantness, and her love of laughter all describe Aunt Gentine to us. We were deeply sorry to hear of her passing, Antoine, Hilda, Alma and Marie.

  5. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Tina’s family. We had the honor and pleasure to care for her at AU Chateau where she made so many friends. She adjusted so well to the HOME. On a personal level, she took care of my dad, making sure he ate when he was her table mate. Even when he was moved table (because he needed more help) she would still report to us how he was and would check on him in his room quite often. She didn’t just do this for my dad, she did it for many residents. Her infectious laugh and great personality will sure be missed.

  7. My Memere (our Memere), was an extraordinary lady.
She had the uncanny ability to brighten every where she went
with a kindness larger than life, a contagious smile that radiated
from her soft eyes and an enormous love for people and
    life.
She asked in her last few days if she’d be wanted in
heaven…her presence anywhere is and was a gift well
received; heaven is blessed to have her.
She will be fondly remembered and missed more than words
    can describe.
    Love you Memere, Jennie xo

  10. I was so sorry to hear of Aunt J’s passing. She was one of my most favorite aunts and my dad (Hector) loved her so much! I can only imagine that he was in heaven with the rest of his brothers and sisters waiting to greet her when she arrived. I wish we lived closer so that we could be there to comfort all of the family. Please especially give Bruce a kiss and hug from me.

    Love Susan
