It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of David Henry Hickey, 97 years, on March 27, 2022, in Sturgeon Falls. Beloved husband of Argentine (née Gagnon) predeceased June 23, 2016. Born in Lorne Settlement Restigouche NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Lucy Hickey (née Lapointe). Loving father of Marlene Teskey (Lawrence), Rose-Marie Forsyth (Brian) and Bruce Hickey. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Murray), Stephanie, Lyssa, Tim, Amanda (Jarrett) Seth and great grandpa to Taylor, Lauren, Madison, Emma, Skyler, Ryland, Alexis, Avery. Thank you to the staff at Au Chateau for taking care of our Dad while he was there. At the family’s request there will be no visitation.

Chères Marlene et Rose-Marie,
When I saw the Hickey name in the Obituaries, I instantly thought of my school friends and neighbours. We may have taken different paths but you are still part of my memories.
Please accept my condolences in the passing of your father. Family is important. You have certainly accumulated memories of special moments spent with your dad.
