In Loving Memory of David Harold Hunt who passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Health Sciences North at the age of 78. Born in Sudbury, ON to the late Harold and Pearl Hunt. Loving father of Christine Puddephatt, Richard Hunt (predeceased), Daniel Hunt (partner Stacy Panny), Joseph Hunt and Crystal Hunt. Beloved grandfather to Eric Hunt, Ellie Hunt, and Bryanna Hunt. Brother of Lois Walli, Joan Rickard (predeceased) and Rhonda Walli (predeceased). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Jan Walli, Martha Walli, John Walli, Mark Walli, Thomas Walli, Kevin Walli, Mathew Walli, Greg Rickard and Ann Gratton. David was an avid outdoorsman whose favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Uncle David had some challenges in life but was fundamentally a good man. He shared his stories, he had the Hunt giggle, he took me into his home for summer farm experience as a teenager. I enjoyed our fall trips to the ‘Valley with my mom and I was warmed by how they tried to support each other. He cried when I sang for him, and he smiled whenever I visited. RIP, Uncle David, you are hunting with the Angels now! Xo
