In Loving Memory of Lorne Joachim Jaworski who passed away suddenly on December 27th, 2015 at the age of 82. Born on December 9th, 1933 in Sudbury, ON he was the son of the late Stephen and Sophie Jaworski. Beloved husband of 62 years of Sylvia Jaworski (nee Dupuis). Cherished father of seven children, Kathy Zidar (Bob), David (Betsy), Debbie Morin (Rheal), James, Christine Koltun (Brian), Michael (Danielle) and Stephen (Lynda). Dear brother of Jack, John, Anne Swettick, Helen Grayson, Olga Ochowski and Mary (all predeceased). Lorne will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Melissa, Andre and Michel Morin, Maegann and Bryan Jaworski and Steve Jaworski. He will also be sadly missed by sister-in-law Marlene Lekun (Ernie), brother-in-law Merwin (Butch) Dupuis (Jeanne) and his extended family, the Wahnapitae Ranger Families. Lorne was an active athlete in his youth and still holds junior records for shotput, he loved football, playing through high school for the Sudbury HardRocks (Founding Member in 1954) and the Sudbury Spartans. Hunting and fishing was something Lorne truly loved and when he retired to his home on Lake Wahnapitae it was one of his happiest places on earth, where socializing over a cold one and a cigar with his friends and neighbours highlighted his day. He particularly enjoyed his Saturday tea with neighbour Mike Anthony. Lorne was a unique individual who had a great sense of humour and who just loved life. As per Lorne’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life for Lorne will be held on July 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at the Jaworski Residence on Lake Wahnapitae, 1168 West Bay Rd. Capreol, ON.
