It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of James Brian Kosteroski on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Health Sciences North at the age of 75. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to the late Edward and Edith Kosteroski (nee Winfield). Beloved husband of the late Irene Kosteroski (nee Ricard). Loving father of Jennifer Suosalo (Dean) and Wendy Kosteroski. Cherished and adored grandfather of Ryan and Jordan Suosalo. Survived by his sister Betty Benoit (Butch), his sister-in-law Mignonne Pohjola (Eric), and brother-in-law Marcel Ricard (Monique). Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. James’ love for cars ran deep. He loved working on his classic cars and being in the garage. He truly enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. I am so sorry Jennifer for your loss. I loved my cousin. He was a kind soul, who always had great conversation. My dad, Russell Winfield, would always enjoy Jimmy’s visits, usually in September. It is difficult to lose parents so quickly. I pray for you, your family and for Jimmy.
