Jane Frances Lamb passed away peacefully with her loving son and sister by her side on December 4, 2016 at Maison Vale Hospice. Born in Sudbury to the late Curtis and Frances Lamb (nee Jeffrey). Loving and proud mother of Dylan(Emily). Cherished grandmother of Everly as well as the grandson she would have loved to meet and hold Diggory whom was born days after her passing. Beloved sister of Calvin (Louise), Tim(Rosy), Dan(Nicole), Robert(Louise) and Beth. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, great nephew Nathan and her many friends. She enjoyed the great outdoors and her various dogs throughout her life. Jane lived with her sister for the last nine months of her life and being the social butterfly that she was, she enjoyed getting to know the neighbours and all those around her. She worked at the Taxation Center for 30 years and it is from there that the annual Girls Weekend began and life long friends and memories were made. A special thank you to Dr. Pitre at the Cancer Center and all the staff at Maison Vale Hospice for the great care and compassion they provided Jane in her last few days. As per Jane’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at Glad Tidings Tabernacle, 1101 Regent St., Sudbury on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations made directly to Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
