Lanteigne-Frohlick, Katelane

A young beautiful bright soul has gained her angel wings. Katelane has touched the hearts of everyone she has crossed paths with. A beloved daughter, wife, mother and friend of so many left this world unexpectedly at the age of 30 on October 22, 2021.

Katelane leaves behind her true soulmate and love of her life, travelling companion and fishing partner, husband Jordan Frohlick and her sweet 7-month-old daughter Alyne and her furry friend Doug. She also leaves behind her best friend and strongest supporter, her mother Claudette who was always by her side. She was preceded in death by her first love, her father Daniel Lanteigne (2017), she was a true Daddy's girl and the apple of his eye. She will be missed by her in-laws, grandparents Bernie (Linda) Frohlick, mother and father-in-law Tracey Frohlick and Lerry Simeoni, sister-in-law, Tiffany Simeoni (Matt Miron) and her niece and nephew Abby and Easton who she lovingly called her "little chickens".  She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Paulette Richer (Georges), Denise Lachance (Mike), Murielle Dupuis (Gilles), Denise Raymond (Charlie), Lucille Perreault (Terry) and Laura Owens (Mike). She leaves behind her cousins Eric (Melissa), Stephanie (Guy), Joanne (Tammy), Gilles (Melina), Lisa (Steve), Lianne (Dan), Candice (Rob), Meaghan (Nicholas), Jonah and Kiley (Ari). She will also be missed by many other friends and family members Max, Zavier, Avery, Kyler, Cynthia, Celeste, Jaden and Easton.

Besides travelling, Katelane loved spending time at her cottage on Lake Manitou (Manitoulin Island) where she is known for her exemplary ice fishing skills especially at the Manitoulin Ice Showdown where she had won the tournament many times. A strong sense of loss will be felt by her family at R.L. Beattie Public School where she was a kindergarten teacher.  She was also known for her entrepreneurship with her jewelry company “She Beads By KT” and her network marketing adventures. 

A special thank you to Emergency Physician Dr. Alex Anawati and the staff at Health Sciences North, 8 North and 5 North ICU for the kindness and compassion you showed Katelane. We would also like to say a special thank you to Janet Riehl, Mary Beth Gibbons and Chaplin Dan for comforting us.

When you think of Katelane, celebrate the good memories you have of her.  Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.  Please join us in honouring, remembering and Celebrating Her Life at Verdicchio Ristorante (1351-D Kelly Lake Rd., Sudbury) on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Covid-19 precautions will be followed.

When someone you love dies, you never quite get over it.  You just slowly learn to go on without them, but always keeping them tucked safely in your heart. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
