In loving memory of Roger Dale Legault who passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Health Sciences North at the age of 73 years. Born in Markstay, he was the son of Armand (predeceased) and Doris Legault (nee Yade). Beloved companion and Best Friend to Carolyn Gladu. Loving father of Kimberley Dawn Stone (John) and Roger Dale Legault Jr. (predeceased). Roger will be greatly missed by Carolyn’s children Diane Gibson, Dan, Amy-Lynne and Ron; grandchildren Emily, Hailey-Jayne, his “little ladybug” Aimelia and Abby Brunet. Cherished brother of Jerry (predeceased), Raymond (predeceased), Bobby and Shirley. At Roger’s request there will be no service or visitation.
Condolences to the family and friends of Roger Legault. We have known Roger since 1960 when his family moved to Cross St. We were part of a bunch of teenagers that hung out together and Roger was one of those characters you only meet once in a lifetime. We moved from Sudbury in 1964 but was able to connect with Roger for a beer or coffee over the years when we came back to Sudbury to visit family. He came out to Comox on Vancouver Island for a visit around 1975 and I visited him in Calgary around 1981. We also saw him in Portage la Prairie in 2000. The last few years Roger always called us just after Christmas on my birthday. I missed his calls the last couple of years and could not connect. Rest in Peace old friend.
