Norman Stafford Mackay, 66, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022.
Loving husband and best friend to Laura. Devoted father to Wesley and Amanda. Cherished grandpa to Ethan, Hailey, and Owen. Amazing uncle to so many; he was a constant force in all our lives; one of a kind.
Your wings were ready, our hearts were not. Loved forever and for always!
Worked with Norm for many years, kind gentle giant who would help anyone with anything at any time. Deepest condolences to family. Garson Mine will always have him in our thoughts.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Norm and working along side him for the past 25 years. He was a “character”. Being a character is a great thing because it means he will always be remembered. He had one of those classic great laughs and loved sharing it with those he called friends. He always had time to chat and it inevitably ended with laughter. He was also very proud of his children and grandchildren and bragged about their accomplishments often at work. I always appreciated that he thought highly enough of his work friends to share the tales of his family. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten at Garson.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Sending our thoughts and love to Laura and her family. We have been camp neighbours to Norm for the past 9 years. I will miss our coffees in the morning, the calls to go get Hailey because she broke down on the quad and just your happy go lucky attitude. 💕
